Today I had the pleasure of visiting the FIDAE 2010, who does not know is the International Air and Space.
Trip Home: From Terminal Pajaritos German Villa (SCL)
Everything was budgeted to be leaving home at 6:20 AM (GMT -3), unfortunately, my brother, my father and I fell asleep, woke up at 7am recently, I went to do other things that had slope and then fed processed at 8:30 am we were on the bus to Santiago from the terminal Quilpue do not remember much, I can only image of a road accident which coincided with the bus at 6:30 am, unless bad that we were asleep! When it was 10:30 AM, we were with the question of how to get until we see a bus company which performed the TurBus travel sector, finding out we buy tickets for the bus ($ 1,700 pesos (CLP) round trip) and then meet with a row MEGA-GIANT! was amazing the amount of people traveling at that time to the FIDAE clearly were hundreds of people trying to get the wait was quick and that in about 15 minutes and were on the bus route to the site of the event. (In that moment I placed my geolocation in Foursquare.com)

arrived at the event, where accredited media were looking for (or rather where to withdraw credentials), kindly staff guided us FACH to enter the sector which gave us Press credentials (quite beautiful, design well maintained belt) which allowed us to participate in the event as such.
I had had the opportunity to visit the fair in 2002 I believe, which because of the lady who took us (we were in college) I could not see any showcase or see many stands, so this opportunity would be my revenge !.

Philips 3D Television brought by the Russians
Great!, Record a video but unfortunately the effect was lost so I will not upload, the great advantage of this system, giving the illusion of objects off the screen when it was actually a flat image, so far no calls attention, but what if it was AWESOME is that NO GLASSES NEEDED!, the same screen gave the effect, at least 5 minutes looking at me is just to drool over pictures of that technology.
Aerobatic Squadron of Chile
Among the showcase event, teams of acrobatics but the most striking was the Chilean, not just because they are compatriots, but it was also world champions acrobatic, why?, for the simple fact of being crazy! is ridiculous, yet amazing to see planes moving that way, almost 1 meter distance between them and all in the same plane (no more effects of one forward and one back as it does The Brazilian team). The figures were notable with smoke (or steam, in fact it is) they made, here I leave 2 images of the figures.
F-16 Fighting Falcon
This was the first fighter I saw a giant orgasm ... imagine having it less than 300 meters away and in slow motion the sound arrives with a delay of 5 seconds!, other than the maneuverability of it was something I had ever seen, within seconds disappeared from the sky to appear by surprise on the other side, in the showcase were 4 models of F-16 that Chile has depending on the place where you are, and which was most surprising of all.

F-22 Raptor
was the main attraction, but nobody knew where he was, or would you go, only knew one hour in which would be presented to the public, the feature of this plane is that its speed is unrivaled by any other machine to such an extent that neither the human reaction can pilot it correctly. For use off just 300 meters from the track ... THE SAME NOTHING! How do you do? I have no idea which is alien to me tinca (or bot like me xD), total control of all movements, it denies that the plane is pretty ugly, but it's amazing that there is potential there. Someday I'll buy one to go to buy bread at the corner hahaha.

After it was over, at 5pm on the dot we thought to be lining up to take bus back to Terminal Pajaritos, unfortunately we were late and arrived at 5:30 pm row, row the devil! were there until 6:15 pm and were hundreds of people like in the morning, if they were MILES! imagine the amount of people who visited the event, at least it was a quick return trip uneventful, just me by announcing that he had a 2nd foursquare checkin in birds hahaha.

Quiet. Everything OK, sleeping on the tour and then come home to eat something rich jijiji.
Obviously Conclusion in this post have missed many things, like the other team in the showcase, talks with PDI and its comparison with CSI, the Russian space stations, weapons management, among many others, but leave the highlight for me (with which I am still shocked), and recommendation, to anyone who has a chance to go to the FIDAE, please do so! I like the subject or not is something to see, plus it takes place only every 2 years and the amount of technology that shows there is something really worth.
