More than half the workforce at the airport of Ciudad Real was declared Friday in the main door of the premises to show their rejection of Redundancy Employment (ERE) proposed by the receivers of the company.
The chairman of the company, Jorge Acosta, said they expect the judge and the labor authorities "consider that the allegations are sufficient" and that is a record "unfair" because it "involves a great sacrifice by the workers without a solution to the problem of the airport."
Acosta said they expect the judge to know the answer "next week" as the ERE should enter into force on 1 January.
